NextStage, a leader in business development, capture, and proposal software within the federal government contracting space, has achieved FedRAMP Moderate Equivalency. A-LIGN, a Third-Party Assessment Organization (3PAO), conducted an audit evaluating NextStage’s cloud environment against the FedRAMP Moderate baseline. The review included formal testing of implemented security controls, documentation, and governance practices.

Rye Jones, CEO and Co-founder at NextStage, said:

“Achieving FedRAMP Moderate Equivalency is first and foremost about our customers. Organizations handling CUI cannot afford the risk of using platforms that fall short of DFARS and CMMC requirements. NextStage's compliance program removes that risk by delivering FedRAMP-equivalent security to every customer as part of our core subscription, not as an expensive add-on or separate walled-off environment. This milestone ensures our customers can operate with confidence in regulated and mission-critical environments, without disruption, complexity, or surprise costs. A-LIGN’s rigorous and independent assessment was instrumental in validating the strength of our program.”

With ongoing DFARS and CMMC 2.0 enforcement, this milestone enables customers to confidently show how Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) is handled across the supply chain and meet compliance requirements with independently verified controls.

Petar Besalev, EVP of Compliance and Cybersecurity Services at A-LIGN, said:

“Congratulations to NextStage for achieving FedRAMP Moderate Equivalency. This milestone reflects a strong commitment to protecting sensitive government data, strengthening customer trust, and building a resilient security posture. We're proud to support this critical step in NextStage’s federal compliance journey with a rigorous assessment process and deep expertise in government security standards.”

NextStage is committed to an ongoing investment in security while delivering customers credible proof of strong governance and risk management. The security program will continue to strengthen in line with Federal expectations and evolving compliance requirements for government contractors within the platform’s scope.
